Who we are
Okonkwo Foundation began with one simple conviction: when a mother survives and thrives, her children and the future of her community blossom with her.
Okonkwo Foundation is an independent Nigerian non-profit with an African and global outlook. We exist solely to uplift impoverished and sick mothers and their children through healthcare, skills training, and social support.
Today, we have grown into a registered Nigerian NGO with partners across West Africa, yet our heartbeat is still personal. We work alongside mothers, not merely “for” them, listening first, co-creating solutions, and celebrating every small victory. Whether it is the safe delivery of a premature infant in a village clinic or a widow turning her first profit from a sewing enterprise, our measure of success remains human dignity restored.
